Retro Diner Style Kitchen Scene

Front View

Let’s go back in time to the days of the local diner with the vinyl black and white tiled floor and white walls. Or a retro kitchen where baking ingredients were stored in containers and proudly displayed on the counter. The days when Corningware and Tupperware were king of the kitchen. Can’t you just smell your favorite home backed goodness???

A 3-dimensional card with incredible detail using die cut images, quality card stock and actual vinyl for the flooring. The beauty of this card is that you can decide the occasion – valentines day? mother’s day? birthday? a lovely thank you? – the options are pretty limitless  Purchase this card

What makes this card unique?

This card is a bit different for me. Generally all my designs are hand drawn and executed. In this case, the Tim Holtz Retro Oven die set does it so well, I just can’t compete. I took a card design and modified the folds to replicate shelves on a wall, holding the various utensils and tools used in this retro kitchen. I’ve switched up a plaid embossing design to replicate the white tiled wall. The floor pattern is my own design and done in black vinyl to get that perfect shine of a well waxed floor. Glitter accents and foil cardstock, combined with the classic red and teal colorway complete this card. And of course, the touches of glitter and my own unique shimmer spray add to my personal flair on this card.
